NFPA – National Fire Protection Association

With over 80,000 members, NFPA has been a worldwide leader in providing fire, electrical, building and life safety to the public since 1896. The mission of this nonprofit organization is to reduce the incidence of fire and related hazards by providing and advocating scientifically based consensus codes and standards, research, training and education.

The NFPA’s 300 codes and standards influence every building, process, service, design and installation in the United States, as well as many of those used in dozens of other countries.

NFPA sponsors, and co-owns with ROC Exhibitions, the World Safety Conference and Exhibition, Americas’ Fire and Security Expo, and Mexico Fire & Safety Expo, all annual events.
