NFPA Mexico Fire Expo, with iMex4 companion events, welcomes 17,877 attendees
Lisle, IL— (June 18, 2010) – ROC-NFPA LLC, producers of NFPA Mexico Fire Expo announced attendance at the first iMex4 event of 17,877.
The iMex4 “mega-show” combines separate events for security, fire protection, safety and facility management solutions, and is one of the largest events Mexico. The event was developed for professionals looking for education, products and services to secure, operate, manage and maintain buildings and properties in Mexico, and Latin America at large.
Overall, iMex4 occupied all four exhibit halls at Centro Banamex staging a combined 23,000 square meters of product displays and featuring four hundred seventy five national and international companies.
“The rational for bringing together the four events—Expo Seguridad, Mexico Safety, Facilities and Fire—under one umbrella was to take advantage of their natural synergies, both on the supplier side and the buyer side.” said Marc Rosenstock, Director of ROC-NFPA LLC, one of the partners in the iMex4 production. “An important dynamic that validates this approach is that a full third of the overall audience had an expressed interest in fire protection products. This is far and away more people than we would expect to attend a stand-alone fire protection event.”
According to Antonio Macias, NFPA Mexico’s Managing Director, “The opportunity to reach such a large number of people is a great assist in our mission here to train, educate and inform professionals about fire & safety codes and their ability to help save lives.”
