With over 70,000 members, NFPA has been a worldwide leader in providing fire, electrical, building and life safety to the public since 1896. The mission of this non-profit organization is to reduce the incidence of fire and related hazards by providing and advocating scientifically based consensus codes and standards, research, training and education.
The NFPA’s 300 codes and standards influence every building, process, service, design and installation in the United States, as well as many of those used in dozens of other countries.
NFPA sponsors, and co-owns with ROC Exhibitions, the NFPA Conference & Expo, and Mexico Fire Expo, which are both annual events.
